Community Growth Manager

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a community growth manager that will lead our community growth initiatives across our social media channels. The successful candidate will work closely with the social media team to convert our social media followers into brand advocates. Further, the role acts as a brand ambassador for our community as well, which will engage with community members which we aim to convert as actual users as well. To grow, educate, and engage an active crypto/Web3 community. In this case, community refers to platforms like Discord and Telegram as well as social platforms (X, Facebook, etc.)

To grow the project’s community, the community manager will need to be immersed in the world of crypto 

and have the experience necessary to develop and execute growth strategies that attract new users to the 

project’s community and keep them engaged.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for the overall community’s presence and activity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive organic growth within the community groups.
  • Oversee and guide team members in executing strategies and moderating community groups.
  • Build and nurture a strong relationship between the project and its communities on X, Discord, and beyond, responding to comments, resolving disputes, and engaging with users
  • Keep the community up to date with the latest product improvement; help the marketing team help pinpoint trending topics of engagement for content creation.
  • To develop and execute growth strategies that attract new users to the project’s community and keep them engaged.
  • Create, execute, and promote user campaigns, like quests (Galxe, Zealy, QuestN, Layer3), giveaways, and project collaborations
  • Curate UGC as well as trending content across various community channels
  • Since users are likely to hail from different regions and time zones, so the community manager should be expected to manage a small team of community moderators that fill in language and resource gaps
  • Work with influencers, collaborating brands, and ambassadors to enhance community growth

Manage a team of community moderators, coordinating schedules, supervising performance, and providing helpful feedback.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a community manager or social media manager in the Crypto/ Web3/ Blockchain
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are good with people and understand what makes people tick
  • Be immersed in crypto/Web3 culture and have a demonstratable knowledge of the platforms preferred by these communities (X, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, Telegram, etc,) 
  • Proven experience in creating innovative strategies to meet gosals.
  • Execptional problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills and organizational skills and an ability to work alongside a team towards the same objective

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years
